Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 19, 2026

1. Introduction

MobiusVision LLC ("MobiusVision," "we," "our," "us"), located at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, operates GoodMorningBuddy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Service.

GoodMorningBuddy involves two distinct roles: the Caregiver (the person who subscribes, pays for, and manages the Service) and the Senior (the person who receives daily morning messages and replies via SMS). These are often different individuals, and we treat their data with distinct privacy considerations.

2. Information We Collect

From Caregivers

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and payment details.
  • Senior profile data: the Senior's name, phone number, location, timezone, interests, and preferences that you provide during setup.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the caregiver dashboard, including login times and features used.

From Seniors

  • SMS replies: the text content of messages the Senior sends in response to our daily check-in.
  • AI-derived insights: wellness classification labels (e.g., "doing well," "no reply," "may need attention") generated by our AI based on the Senior's replies.
  • Delivery and reply metadata: timestamps, delivery status, and response times.

Automatically Collected

  • Website visitors: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs.
  • Waitlist submissions: email address and any optional survey responses you provide.

3. How We Use Information

  • To deliver the Service: generate personalized morning messages, process Senior replies, classify wellness status, and send alerts to Caregivers.
  • To improve the Service: analyze usage patterns, improve AI accuracy, and develop new features.
  • To communicate with you: send account-related emails, respond to support requests, and notify you of service changes.
  • To comply with legal obligations: respond to legal requests and enforce our Terms.

4. Caregiver and Senior Data Separation

GoodMorningBuddy is designed so that, if and when conversation features are launched, the Caregiver experience will remain meaningfully separated from the Senior's private conversation content:

What the Caregiver is expected to see:

  • A high-level wellness status for each check-in (for example, "Had a great morning," "Hasn't replied yet," or "May need attention").
  • Whether the Senior replied, and approximately when.
  • Escalation alerts if our systems flag a potential concern.

What we intend to keep out of the Caregiver view:

  • The actual text content of the Senior's replies, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to address a serious safety issue.
  • The specific words or details the Senior shared in conversation, subject to the same exceptions.
  • The full AI-generated morning messages sent to the Senior, except as needed for support, safety, compliance, or debugging.

This separation reflects our intended product design. We believe Seniors are more likely to engage honestly and openly when they know their conversations are treated as private, which can support better engagement and more useful wellness signals.

5. AI Processing

If messaging and conversation features are launched, the Senior's SMS replies may be processed by artificial intelligence to:

  • Classify the reply into a controlled set of wellness labels rather than unrestricted freeform judgments.
  • Detect potential distress keywords or patterns using automated systems that may combine deterministic rules with AI models.
  • Generate appropriate follow-up responses when applicable.

Our planned approach is to constrain classification outputs and to use additional review, safeguards, or rules before taking higher-risk actions. Exact implementation details may evolve as the Service develops.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • SMS providers: to deliver text messages to Seniors. These providers process message content solely for delivery purposes.
  • AI/LLM providers: to generate message content and classify replies. We use providers with appropriate data processing agreements in place.
  • Payment processors: to process subscription payments. We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Law enforcement: when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

7. Data Security

We are designing the Service to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. These measures are expected to include:

  • Encryption for sensitive data in transit, including HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
  • Encryption or comparable protections for stored conversation data and related records where those features are available.
  • Access controls intended to support the Caregiver/Senior separation described above.
  • Security reviews and operational safeguards appropriate to the maturity and scope of the Service.

8. Data Retention

We retain Senior conversation data for as long as the subscription is active, plus a reasonable wind-down period. Caregivers may request deletion of all data associated with their account and any enrolled Seniors by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Opt out of certain data processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent for SMS messaging through the opt-out methods made available when SMS messaging features are live.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
